PXI Clock 10 Source Appears as Unavailable

Issue Details

I have a PXIe-1084 that shows its PXI Clock 10 Source as Unavailable:

I also can't see the firmware version installed in the chassis, nor does it shows the Update Firmware button. I have another PXIe-1082 that shows the source as Internal, and it also shows the firmware version. 

Solution

Verify that your system has the latest version of the PXI Platform Services driver installed. Newer versions introduce fixes to the communication between the PXIe chassis and NI-MAX. Also, if the installation of the driver is corrupted, updating the driver will clear the installation.
