A Non-case-Sensitive Search in LabWIndows CVI 2017 Does Not Yield Results Correctly

Issue Details

If the string "Sensor für Ölsumpftemperatur" is searched for "sensor für öl" with Ctrl-F non-case-sensitive search, then no match is found.

Solution

A capitalized umlaut, no matter which one, is not found in the "non-case-sensitive" search in CVI 2017, CVI 2017 with f1 patch and also in CVI 2019. Since we do not fix older versions of CVI, the solution is to use CVI 2020, which does not show this behavior.
