DIAdem Asks for Authentication When Downloading SRTM Data

Issue Details

When attempting to download Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data in DIAdem, I am prompted to enter authentication information.

Solution

In order to download SRTM data in DIAdem, you must have a valid account on the NASA Earthdata website. This account is used to authenticate your access to the SRTM data.

To create an account, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to NASA Earthdata Login website
  2. Fill out the form 
  3. Click "Create Account" to submit the form.

Once you have an account, you can use the login information to authenticate your access to SRTM data in DIAdem.
