What is the maximum continuous voltage or power that the PXIe-5785 can handle at its analog input without damage?

Solution

The maximum voltage at the analog inputs of PXIe-5785 should not exceed 4Vpp. It translates to approx. 16dBm for a 50Ohm system. This is in accordance with the specifications of the ADC IC used in the module. Please refer to [External Link] ADC datasheet Section 7.3.2.1 Analog Input Protection.
