Receiving feedback from our developers helps us improve. Please let us know when you encounter any issues with NI Software. This guide will help you to Report a Bug using the Service Request Manager(SRM) platform.

What to Expect:
  • If you are an Entitled Customer with Active Standard Service Program  (SSP) you can discuss the issue with an NI Engineer to try to solve the problem, and find workarounds.
  • If you are an Unentitled Customer (no SSP) you can Report a Bug, we may also email you asking for additional information or files to investigate the issue.

Please use the following steps to Report a Bug
  1. Navigate to ni.com.  
  2. In the upper left corner, locate the "My account" icon and click "Log in".

  1. Log into your NI account.

  1. Once you logged in, navigate to "My Account" icon and click on "Service requests"

  1. Select "Report a Bug" on the Service Request Manager.

  1. Type the Serial number of the software product in which you found the bug. If you don't know your serial number, click Next.

  1. Enter the affected software product and click on Next.

  1. Share your Feedback/Problem and the steps to reproduce.

  1.  If you choose to discuss the issue with an NI Engineer, ensure that your contact method is correct. Unentitled customers (no SSP) can report a bug, but will not have this option.0-1667416861683.png
  2. Click Next to complete the bug report.
