The Vehicle Communication Toolkit is a software add-on that provides a LabVIEW API that is compatible with Windows and NI Linux Real-Time operating systems. NI-VCOM WebUI is developed to view the database file and create the RBS configuration file. RBS configuration file is indispensable for the LabVIEW test with NI-VCOM. This article explains how to use WebUI to create the RBS configuration file.

  1. Start the WebUI from LabVIEW. Under the menu Tools and Vehicle Communication Toolkit, you can click on Vehicle Communication Toolkit webUI. The WebUI will be started in your default browser, and ask for login information. For the Windows OS target, by default, the website is http://127.0.0.1:60004. The USERNAME is admin and the PASSWORD is admin. After login, you can access all the configuration files in C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-VCOM\configuration\RBS_Config. But for the Linux RT target, the website should be <Linux RT IP Address>:60004. The USERNAME and PASSWORD are also admin. After login, you can access all the configuration files in home:\lvuser\ni-vcom\configuration\RBS_Config.Windows OS:
