  • LabVIEW Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit
  • LabVIEW Digital Filter Design Toolkit

This article decribes, what steps you need to take, to use the new LabVIEW licensing structure introduced in 2022 Q3 and activate
  • LabVIEW Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit
  • LabVIEW Digital Filter Design Toolkit
also for versions up to 2021 SP1 with only a LabVIEW Professional Development System (PDS) license.

Prerequisite is a license, which activates LabVIEW PDS in version 2022 Q3 or later.

  1. Install the LabVIEW Version you want to use.
  2. Install LabVIEW Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit or LabVIEW Digital Filter Design Toolkit.
  3. Download LabVIEW_PDS_PKG_220300.lc from the attachment section of this article.
  4. Place the file in C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\License Manager\Licenses
  5. Open NI License Manager and activate the entry for LabVIEW PDS in version 2022 Q3.

When you open LabVIEW now, you will see the paletts for the Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit and the Digital Filter Design Toolkit in the Signal Processing category for Block Diagram Items.
During startup of LabVIEW, the Licensing Wizard will show up, and ask for the activation of the toolkits. You can choose Do Not Remind Me on this dialogue. The dialogue shows up, because the seperate entries for the toolkits are not activated, as the licensing works via the LabVIEW PDS 2022 Q3 entry.
