Project Failed to Load Using a Previous FlexLogger Version

Issue Details

I'm trying to load a FlexLogger project but I'm getting error:

"Project path" failed to load because it contains
content that was saved in a newer version. The document was last saved in
FlexLogger Version XX.X.X.X Build X.X.X.XXXXX.

Solution

This error indicates the FlexLogger project you are trying to load was saved in a newer non-compatible FlexLogger version. FlexLogger is backwards compatible, so you can load projects from previous versions in a newer version, but you can't load newer FlexLogger version projects in previous FlexLogger version.

If you need to load that specific project your options are:
  • Upgrade your FlexLogger version to the same or a newer version than the one that was used to build the project. This is recommended since you'll also get the additional features and fixes of the newer version.
  • Load the project in a newer version to see it, and manually duplicate the project in your FlexLogger version.

Additional Information

The first two digits in the version XX.X.X.X indicate the year of the FlexLogger release, you will be able to open the project if you get a version equal to or greater than that one, but the latest one is always recommended.
