PCI-6221 Is Replaced With PCIe-6321

Issue Details

I upgraded my PC, and now I only have PCIe lines on my motherboard. For this reason, I would like to make sure that I can replace PCIe-6221 with PCIe-6321?

Solution

You can use the PCIe-6321 instead of PCIe-6221. Just be aware that PCIe-6321 is an X-series module and PCIe-6221 is an M-series module. They may have minor differences, please check their specifications: NI 6221 Specifications and PCIe-6321 Specifications
The main difference is that the PCIe-6321 has four counters, and the PCIe-6221 has only two. 
Both modules have the same pinout (see below pictures):
