Message "You don't have the permission to write to the containing LLB."

Issue Details

I am trying to run a Mass Compile of a code from a previous version of LabVIEW but I keep getting the same error, "Cannot save VI. You don't have the permission to write to the containing LLB."

Solution

This problem is caused by user permissions on the LLB files, first make sure you have read-only attribute unchecked. 

Additional Information

When running a mass compile of a code from an older LabVIEW version, it will also examine the library files used. These files have administrator-only permissions, so the solution is to run LabVIEW as administrator and proceed to run the mass compile as normal.
