Error -201196 At NI-FGEN Initialize

I have a PXI-5450 that returns the following error: 

Error -201196 occurred at niFgen Initialize.vi

Possible reason(s):
PCI Express interface layer error detected. Contact National Instruments for support.

  1. Test the module in different slots of the PXI(e) chassis. 
  2. If another chassis is available, test the module to discard an issue with the chassis. 
  3. Confirm if other NI-FGEN modules are working without issues. 

Next Steps

If none of the previous steps resolve the issue, the affected module must be repaired. Contact NI Support to proceed with the RMA.
