Issue Details

After I run a sequence in TestStand the LabVIEW splash screen pops up as shown below:

How do I avoid this?

Solution

The LabVIEW splash screen can appear for a few different reasons. A few things to check in your TestStand sequence are:
  1. Have your TestStand sequence run with the LabVIEW Run-Time engine instead of the development environment by changing the adapter configuration: Configure > Adapters > Configure > LabVIEW Run-Time Engine. If you only want to use the LabVIEW Run-Time engine for a few steps you can go to the Module tab in the Step Settings pane and select: Advanced Options (for VI/Class Path) > Always Run VI in LabVIEW Run-Time Engine.
  2. Change the TestStand Window Activation property in the Run Options tab of the Step Settings pane
  3. If you have worked with a debug license in the past separate from what you are using now, remove that license and run the sequence.
