Solution
Important: NI is not liable for damage incurred while changing a CMOS battery. The recommended procedure is to send your controller in to Return Material Authorization (RMA) to have the battery replaced; however, the 3 Volt battery can be replaced by an end user if desired.
It is not recommended to use any CR2032 battery instead of BR2032. As of September 2021, PXIe-8880 use Murata CR2032W 3V Lithium coin cell.
