Solution

Perform the following steps to disable grid alignment of front panel objects in LabVIEW NXG:
  1. Select File >> Preferences from the toolbar at the top.
  2. Select the VI tab.
  3. Uncheck the Snap to grid option under the Panel editing defaults section.
