Error -214682728 Occur When Write More Than 256 Column To Excel Using Report Generation Toolkit

Issue Details

I m referring to one of the LabVIEW report generation toolkit example Generate from Template.vi and did some minor code edit to enable the program write more than 256 column to excel. However , the deploy the program error -2146827284 occur.

 

Solution

The reason that cause this error is due to excel template for Generate from Template.vi is in 97 - 2003 version which were limited to 256 columns.

This issue can be resolve by save the excel template to newest version.
