No Frame Receive or Send After Service Discovery IP Address and Port Had Deleted

Issue Details

I am using Automotive Ethernet Example project that comes with VCOM. In the VCOM configuration, there are two VLAN channel Chassis_VLAN and Info_VLAN. I had deleted service discovery IP addresses and service discovery ports configuration for ECU of Chassis_VLAN while channel for Info_VLAN configuration remain unchange. When the project is deployed, channel frame for Chassis_VLAN cannot be sent or received but channel frame for Info_VLAN is working fine.

What is the root cause for this?

Solution

Due to the Automotive Ethernet Example project is actually sent by multicast, therefore  the service discovery IP address and port must be set. 

Additional Information

For unicast transmission,  service discovery IP address and service discovery port is optional to configure.
