Unable to Start LabVIEW NXG 5.1

Issue Details

When attempting to start LabVIEW NXG 5.1, the splash screen opens (user credentials check window) and a short time later the entire software closes.

How can I fix it?
 

Solution

  • First of all, verify that LabVIEW NXG is being activated on your machine.
 
  • If it is being activated, this behavior can be experienced when the LabVIEW NXG is being installed together with all its components (add-ons and drivers).
The issue is caused rather the software incompatibility with the already installed, later version of drivers, or during the installation the drivers included in the package conflict with the already installed later version of drivers.

To resolve this issue, uninstall the entire LabVIEW NXG and reinstall it without its components (add-ons and drivers). Later on, you can install any required add-ons or drivers individually and can even update them by the NI Package Manager. It won't affect the functionality of your LabVIEW NXG software.
