Unknown Channel or Repeated Capability Name Error on NI-RFSA Soft Front Panel

Issue Details

I was having issues with one of our PXIe-5663E vector signal analyzers after upgrading one of our testers from LabVIEW 2011 to 2013. After the upgrade, the PXIe-5663E vector signal analyzer software shows errors and will not start measurements, both the soft front panel and LabVIEW show the same error. The digitizer returned the following error:

IVI:(Hex 0xBFFA0020) Unknown channel or repeated capability name.

Solution

This is a know issue (ID: 571533)  for NI-SCOPE 15.1.

NI-SCOPE 15.1 fails to initialize a reconfigurable oscilloscope session with NI-RFSA or NI-RFmx installed
If you have NI-SCOPE 15.1 installed on your computer along with the NI-RFSA and/or NI-RFmx device drivers, you may encounter "Unknown channel or repeated capability name" error messages.

Install the NI-SCOPE 15.1.1 patch to resolve the issue.
