Solution
This error can occur when the VI Package is improperly attempting to write to
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\Example Finder\1.0\Products\LabVIEW\23.1 folder which does not normally exist. To fix this please follow the steps below.
- Create the following folder manually:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\Example Finder\1.0\Products\LabVIEW\23.1\exbins\english
- Run the JKI VI Package Manager as administrator (Right-click on the VI Package Manager (VIPM) >> Run as Administrator).
- Re-attempt the installation of the Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit.
