Error -52005, Analog Data Acquisition With Ethernet cDAQ Fails in DIAdem

Issue Details

When using a DIAdem version earlier than 2020 with an Ethernet CompactDAQ (cDAQ) device, analog signal measurements in DAC using NI-DAQmx driver input do not work, an error is thrown:

Error in Start
Error No.:-52005
: NIDAQmx returns the following error:
The parameter received by the function is not valid.

The error is shown in the following dialog box.

The NI I/O Trace for NI-DAQmx shows the errors -52005 and -201401.

Solution

The error is due to a bug, which is fixed in DIAdem 2020.
Please upgrade DIAdem to 2020 or a later version, as there is currently no known workaround for this issue.
