Error 2000000008 When Open VeriStand Workspace During Access System Remotely

Issue Details

Currently, I using remote control software to access the system for open it's VeriStand project. When I tried to open Workspace of the VeriStand project, I get the following error:

Error -2000000008 occurred at errorList.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: (Hex 0x88CA6BF8) Invalid device index. Please check to see if the device is attached correctly. Please verify that the device index you passed in to the Initialize Device VI is correct.

Solution

This error might related to an application is accessing input device such as a mouse or keyboard.
Follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
  • Reboot and log in remote system before you use remote control software to access the system remotely
  • Stopping any applications that could be access the mouse or keyboard
  • Change use other remote control software
  • Install latest version of VeriStand.
