What do I need to import MDF4-format log data into DIAdem?

Solution

There are two types of MDF4 format files:

  1. Frame-based data (e.g. CAN)
  2. Signal-based data (e.g., temperature, voltage)

For type 1, you must use the Bus Log Converter to convert the data. In that case, a database file is required.
For type 2, the data can be imported using the provided DataPlugin .
