Can't Open LabVIEW VI That Contain Chinese or Japanese Characters

Issue Details

I received the VI that contain Chinese (or Japanese). When I double click the VI, nothing happens on the screen. 

But I can open other VI and LabVIEW development software which contain Unicode character only. For example, LabVIEW development English version.

Solution

The root cause the Windows can't recognized non-Unicode characters in the VI.

Go to the Control Panel >> Region >> Administrative tab, click Change system locale...

Under Current system locale: select language that contain in the VI then click OK and Apply.
