FLIR AX8 Camera Not Getting Detected in NI MAX

Issue Details

I have a FLIR AX8 camera and I have connected the camera to my system via Ethernet cable. I have the required IMAQ/IMAQdx drivers and Vision software installed in my system. However, I do not see the camera getting detected in NI MAX. How can I can get this camera detected in my system?

Solution

The bus type supported by the FLIR AX8 model according to its datasheet is Ethernet IP. NI supports Ethernet IP cameras manufactured by Basler and Axis. Hence, though you have the required IMAQ/IMAQdx drivers and Vision software installed in your system you will not be able to detect the camera in NI MAX as well as program it in LabVIEW.
