OPC Client Not Listed as an I/O Server in LabVIEW Project

Issue Details

When I open a LabVIEW project and try to add an I/O Server, I do not see the OPC Client option listed.

Solution

This problem could be because the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module is not installed or the LabVIEW DSC Module is not active. To resolve this, try the following.
  • Make sure the DSC Module is installed.
  • Verify the DSC Module is activated on the NI License Manager.
