Solution
NI's recommendation for removing the SLSC-12202 from the chassis is to carefully pull on the faceplate, if the adjacent slots are empty.
If these slots aren't empty, or you experience difficulty when attempting to remove it with your hands, use of a poly/nylon pry-bar, such as those found in an Ironton 11-Pc
