Wrong Signal Level When Using Source Opcode With Digital Pattern Instrument

Issue Details

In NI Digital Pattern Editor, I use Source opcode in my pattern to output predetermined frames to communicate with another device. I noticed that at high frequency, there are level errors in the generated bits.

Why does the Digital Pattern card transmit wrong bits?

Solution

When you use the source opcodes, you must add a delay of 3 µs between the source start opcode and other source opcode.
The delay is required otherwise you can get errors in the transmission.
