Error Ocurred While Installing Package NI OpenVINO

Issue Details

I am trying to install LabVIEW and I am getting "Error installing ni-openvino-model-optimizer 19.0.0.49153-0+f1. Please check your internet connection and try again." error message in the process.

Solution

This issue means that a crash ocurred while installing NI OpenVINO Inference Engine Support package. This package is included by default in some versions of LabVIEW and some NI software.

To solve this issue:

  • Install Package Manager on your machine.
  • Open Package Manager and click on the Settings button at the right top corner of the window and check the Show full version numbers and infrastructure packages

 

  • Go to the Installed tab and uncheck the Products only option.
  • Enter "OpenVINO" into the search bar. Select it and click at the Repair button
