Issue Details

Is it possible to replace NI PXIe-5622 by NI PXIe-5624R in NI PXIe-5663E?

Replacing NI PXIe-5622 by NI PXIe-5624R in NI PXIe-5663E will lead to the following consequences:
  1. RF drivers (NI-RFSG, NI-RFSA) will not recognize the instrument as one complete device.
  2. There are calibration and correction procedures for NI PXIe-5663E meant to work with NI PXIe-5622 digitizer only. PXIe-5624R will not work there.
  3. None of the specs of NI PXIe-5663E could not be warranted if digitizer will be replaced.
  4. There is signal processing happening on NI PXIe-5622, none of the algorithms are existing for NI PXIe-5624R. The PXIe-5622 IF digitizer module filters and conditions the signal and applies gain and dither for signal correction.
