Can I Program Ballard PXIe MIL-STD-1553B Modules in LabWindows™/CVI?

  • I am unable to locate the drivers required to program the Ballard PXIe MIL-STD-1553B card using LabWindows™/CVI. Where can I find them?
  • I have a Ballard PXIe MIL-STD-1553B card. Can I program this module using LabWindows™/CVI?
  • I see there is an available LabVIEW driver for the Ballard PXIe MIL-STD-1553B card. Is there a LabWindows™/CVI version for this driver?

Solution

The Ballard MIL-STD-1553B module does not have an official driver support for LabWindows™/CVI, therefore you cannot use it on the same, unless you create your own driver or make a LabVIEW wrapper in order to interact with the hardware from LabWindows™/CVI
