NI SystemLink Client Shows Error "The NI Salt-Minion Service could not be started"

Issue Details

When I try to connect to the SystemLink Server using the NI SystemLink Client application I get the error:

The NI Salt-Minion Service could not be started

Solution

This issue can be provoked by a corrupted installation of the NI SystemLink Client on the machine.
