"The Object is No Longer Valid" Error Occurs When Calculate in the DIAdem Analysis Tab

Issue Details

I am using DIAdem 2015 or 2017 on Windows 10. However, no matter what operation is performed in the Analysis tab, the error "The object is no longer valid" occurs.

Solution

It is most likely a compatibility issue between Windows 10 and DIAdem. Please note that DIAdem 2015 does not support Windows 10. DIAdem 2017 is supported under Windows 10, but is limited to Build 1604.

You can follow these steps to find the version information of your Windows 10 system.
  1. Press the Windows key + R button to open "Run".
  2. Type the "winver" and press enter.

 
If you are using the 64-Bit version of DIAdem 2015 or 2017 you can try the following:
  • Download the attached vbscript.dll 
  • Copy it into the DIAdem programm folder which is normaly located at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 20XX
If this does not help please update to a supported Version of DIAdem like 2018 or higher.
