Connection Error on Launching NI Software

Issue Details

When I try to launch any NI software (DAQExpress, LabVIEW, NI License Manager), I get the following error:
Connection error. Check your internet connection and try again. If this problem persists, contact NI support.
This is the first time I'm getting this error in spite of being connected to the internet. How can I resolve this error?

Solution

  1. Disconnect your system from internet, reboot and connect again.
  2. Repair each of the software (DAQExpress, LabVIEW, NI License Manager) that gives this error by following the steps from here.
  3. Repair NI MAX and NI System Web Server from NI Package Manager by following the below steps:
    1. Open NI Package Manager
    2. Go to the Installed tab
    3. Check the Products only box
    4. Search for NI Measurement & Automation Explorer if you can't find NI MAX and check the box to it's left
    5. Uncheck the Products only box
    6. Search for NI System Web Server and check the box to it's left
    7. Click on the green Repair button
