Issue Details

I have installed the TDM DataFinder Module for SystemLink but I do not have the Web Application available.

I am checking on the SystemLink Server Configuration and the TDM_NodeWorker is set to Manual and having issues alongside other TDM services.

Solution

Go to the NI SystemLink TDM Configuration and set up the amount of compute nodes to value higher than zero.

Additional Information

The number of compute node instances determines how many concurrent TDM Server threads (of certain types) can run in parallel at any given time. This is useful for the Analysis Server, as it gates how many DIAdem workers can be launched in parallel to process multiple Analysis Server tasks at the same time.

It should never be higher than the number of (logical) CPUs that the computer has. We recommend leaving a couple CPUs available for other Windows functions and user interfacing.

Even though this setting is mainly for the Analysis Server, it is shared between the Data Preprocessor, the DataFinder, and the Analysis Server. It should never be set to 0, since that turns off all activities in those 3 products that are gated by this setting.
