Issue Details

When using NI OPC Server 2016 to communicate with the Omron NJ501-1500 PLC, setting some tags data type as 'Double' gives the following notification:

       Omron FINS Ethernet

Data type 'Double' is not valid for device address 'D13404'.

Do you need help specifying an address for the selected device?

This notification is shown in the following dialog box:

Solution

NI OPC Server CJ2 address doesn't support 'Double' data type. You can change to the 'Float' as a workaround.
