In this section, we will discuss the issues that occur while deploying the system definition file associated with an NI VeriStand project. Deployment errors are common and can be derived from incorrect system definition file configuration or hardware setup.
VeriStand is a Hardware-in-a-Loop (HIL) testing framework, and besides NI’s hardware, it can be used to set up communication with
third-party EtherCAT hardware, or with
hardware using RS232/RS485 Protocol. It is common to get errors during the deployment of the NI VeriStand project on either third-party or NI hardware.
