C Series Module Not Showing Under cRIO Hardware in SystemLink Server

Issue Details

 I'm trying to check my C Series modules in SystemLink using the Devices and interfaces section of the Systems option from the Systems Management tab. I'm using a cRIO controller 9039, is there a way to check my plugged modules in the controller?

Solution

 Unfortunately, only cRIO controllers that support NI-DAQmx, like 904Xs and 905Xs, will show the details related to the plugged C Series modules.

Here is an example of the Devices and interfaces of a NI-DAQmx-supported controller:

The following is an example of a cRIO controller that doesn't support NI-DAQmx:

Additional Information

As a workaround, you can manually include the C Series module as an asset using these instructions with the SystemLink Asset Module.
