Using OCR and IMAQdx Functions Causes Crash in LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am developing a LabVIEW 2021 application and using IMAQdx functions together with OCR functions. When my program executes both functions, the next time when it opens the reference of the processed image, my LabVEW crashes without throwing an error message. 

I see the same behavior when I install LabVIEW on a completely clean Windows 10 system. How can I fix the crash?

Solution

NI is aware of this issue, and can confirm that it happens on LabVIEW versions up to LabVIEW 2021 SP1. The issue will be fixed during the next releases.
