Compatibility of the DSUB Connector in the PXIe-1095

Issue Details

Can I use a regular cable with a DSUB male connector to interface with the PXIe-1095 back DSUB female connector?

Solution

The Remote Inhibit and Chassis Monitor DSUB connector is incompatible with standard DSUB male connectors. The connector used in the chassis has one of the pinholes (at the left side of pin 6) filled.

This connector is only compatible with the DSUB male connector in the DSUB-to-BNC Trigger Breakout cable (PN: 149055-0R2).
