Error -1074118497 PXIe-6571 This Device Requires a Chassis With 82 W Slot Cooling Capacity

Issue Details

I have a PXIe-6571 in my PXI Chassis. When I try to interact with the card, such as a Self-Test in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), I get: 
The self test has failed.
This device requires a chassis with 82 W slot cooling capacity. Refer to your product documentation for more information. 
Error reported by the instrument driver: -1074118497

Solution

The PXIe-6571 draws a lot of power from the PXI and is also sensitive to temperature increases. 
To ensure accurate data, and to protect the card from thermal damage, the PXIe-6571 can only be used in PXI chassis with slot cooling of 82 W.

Additional Information

Note, the PXIe-6570 does not require a 82 W cooling slot and is very similar to the PXIe-6571. 
The PXIe-6570 just requires the fans on the PXI be set to 'high'.
