License Users Having Disconnected License Pull Some Network Licenses from Volume License Manager.

Issue Details

Some users having disconnected license file still pull network license. When I check lisence status on Volume License Manager (VLM), those users pulls licenses by "network check out". Why it happens?

Solution

There are two cases.

1) After creating disconnected license, the status on VLM becomes "Disconnected License". However, if the users used software which requires network license before installing disconnected license file, the status becomes "network check out".
2) The users would not install disconnected license file on their NI License Manager.

In both case, the user cannot pull the licenses which are not assigned to them. Disconnected license is only for non-concurrent licenses in which each seat is assigned to each single user or computer.
