Issue Details

When I open my LabVIEW project, it asks me to resolve a conflict related to a standard or 3rd party library. I get the following conflict message:

Computing device IP address or name not present
device not present.png

Solution

This error is more likely to be a project conflict issue, for example, when migrating a project into a new system. If using a 3rd party library, it may be difficult to tell why this error is appearing, but in any case, you can find some troubleshooting steps below:
  • Verify if there is a corruption with this library or its associated files, you can try reinstalling the drivers/software that installed this library.
  • Verify if the device is properly connected and the computer recognizes it correctly.
  • You can try recreating the project from scratch to see if there was some corruption in the LabVIEW project.
