Software Support Not Installed for EtherCAT FPGA

Issue Details

I am using LabVIEW 2021 SP1 and trying to compile FPGA code for NI-9145 but I am unable to do so. If I open a project with a previous FPGA code I receive a warning that I can open and view the code but cannot compile it due to missing software support for the FPGA target. If I open a new project and add the EtherCAT master to the project I cannot add the FPGA to the device. I have installed all required software and drivers including LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time Module, LabVIEW FPGA Module, and NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT driver.

Solution

Open your NI Package Manager and select the Installed tab, try to check if you have installed NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT LabVIEW 20XX FPGA Module Support, here is the picture for your reference:

If you do not have it, try to Repair the NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT and make sure you have selected for the support.
