Error -732160 From Scan Engine and EtherCAT Custom Device in VeriStand

Issue Details

I get an error -732160 on every attempt to click on the Manage 3-rd Party EtherCAT Slaves button during EtherCAT configuration.

Importing EtherCAT profiles requires LabVIEW 32-bit, LabVIEW Real-Time, and EtherCAT driver be installed on the host PC. One or more components were not found.

Solution

The issue is specific to the 2023 Q1 version of the Custom Device for VeriStand. Upgrading VeriStand, along with the NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT driver, to the 2023 Q3 version resolves the error.
