Can I Change the Default Location Where the Files Are Stored on SystemLink Server?

Issue Details

I want to change the directory where all our files are stored on our SystemLink server, is this possible? 

Solution

Yes, it´s possible to change the target storage location for files uploaded to SystemLink using its FileIngestion service. In the following image you can see this field in the NI SystemLink Configuration dialog:

Additional Information

Note that this changes the location where all SUBSEQUENTLY uploaded files are stored.  It does not change the location of previously uploaded files.  This also only governs the storage of files uploaded to SystemLink using the FileIngestion service.  This does not affect the disk location of any database files, either the Mongo db, the PostgreSQL dbStoring and or the TDM database that may be installed with your SystemLink.
