NI-VISA Configuration Is Not Detected USB Port in Ubuntu

Issue Details

I am using Ubuntu. I can detect my USB port using the command prompt but the port is not detected by the NI-VISA configuration.

Solution

This could be the user privilege issue. Please try to open the NI-VISA configuration wizard using administrator privilege. By default, the NI-VISA driver development wizard executable(visaconf) can be found in /usr/bin. If you do not find the executable ensure you already install the NI-VISA driver and check the natinst-nivisa-visaconf.desktop file from /usr/share/applications to get the executable location.
