Incorrect Submultiple When Using Symbol Font and SI Units in LabVIEW

Issue Details

  • When using the Symbol Font in LabVIEW and the SI unit system, I see an unexpected behavior, the indicator does not show the proper letter m from the mili submultiple and changes it with a micro symbol instead.

Solution

This issue happens because the symbol font does not interpret the letter m of the submultiple correctly, it changes the letter for the micro symbol. Use another font and if there is a unit required such as the Ohm symbol, replace it with the unit's name.
