Grayed Out Functions Under Crash Analisys in DIAdem ANALYSIS Panel

Issue Details

When I go to DIAdem ANALYSIS panel and try to use the Crash Analysis functions, I see that most of them are grayed out. Why am I getting this behavior?

Solution

The Crash Analysis functions are tied to the Crash Analysis Toolkit license so you need to have that addon activated, otherwise, the associated functions will be grayed out in DIAdem.

You can check the license status of this addon in NI License Manager.

Additional Information

To confirm if DIAdem is properly loading the associated license, you can navigate in DIAdem to Help >> About DIAdem and there you'll see the licenses that are being loaded under the License section at the bottom as shown:

 If the Crash Analysis toolkit is not listed there it means DIAdem is not finding the appropriate entitlements.
