Issue Details

I'm trying to use my hard drive with both USB-C ports on cRIO-905x, the USB Type-C host port is working fine but USB Type-C device port with Console Out is not working. Any reason for this issue ?

Solution

USB 2.0 Type-C Device Port with Console Out use to connect the controller to a host PC for configuration, application deployment, debugging, and maintenance only. To use the hard drive you need to use USB 3.1 Type-C Host Port which support USB mass-storage devices such as USB Flash drives, USB-to-IDE adapters, keyboards, mice, and USB cameras.
