Solution

When you are facing this kind of issue, you need to do the following steps:
  1. Initially, you need to switch the FAN SPEED of the Chassis from Auto to High.
    1. If you're using the PXIe-1085 and later Chassis, you can perform switching from the back end.52.png
    2. In newer Chassis (PXIe-1092 and newer), you should perform it from NI-MAX (NI Measurement & Automation Explorer).Screenshot 2021-07-23 111754.png
  2. You need to clean the fan filters by following this guide or refer to the user manual of your specific Chassis.
  3. If the aforementioned doesn't help you, please contact NI support.

Additional Information

This article can also be used for other Radio Frequency (RF) HWs - Vector Signal Generator (VSG), Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA), Oscilloscopes, etc.

Also, NI recommends keeping FAN SPEED to HIGH, when you work with RF HW.
